Golf
Golf is the No. 1 pastime in the Santa Cruz Valley, so it's not surprising that there are so many top-notch courses to choose from. Whether you're looking to join a private club or try your luck on one of several public courses, odds are you won't soon forget the experience. Prices are comparable to other courses in the region, dropping in the summer months and picking up again when it cools off. Don't worry about getting rained out, and make that tee-time for Thanksgiving day, because around here the sun shines almost every day.
